This statement is the guiding principle that began the initiative to help the family of Mr. A.G. Sirisena.
After being introduced to Bhante Sujatha in July of 2011, the decision was made to try and help the Sirisena family by constructing a new home. Over several months the efforts to raise the money, contract and complete the work was overseen by Bhante Sujatha and congregants of the Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple.
On January 16, 2012, a new house became a home as it was offered with furnishings to the Sirisena family. Adding to the joy of the whole event, the date of the donation proved to be very timely as the home was ready for the arrival of the newest member of Sirisena family born only a week before.
